In the highly demanding world of streaming, great audio quality is a must — it’s just as important as the visual experience for your audience. A poorly-calibrated microphone or music that’s too loud can seriously mess up your livestream, and make you lose viewers as a result. This is even more complex when you want to connect two PCs simultaneously for your stream. To avoid these types of problems, Hercules recommends that you use the Stream 200 XLR audio controller.
In this guide, our Hercules experts will help you set up your Stream 200 XLR audio controller to connect two PCs simultaneously.

STREAM 200 XLR
Once you’ve chosen your audio mixer, it’s time to move on to the physical installation. Thankfully, this step is really simple. Everything you need to take care of is located on the back of the Stream 200 XLR controller:
Now that your connections are ready, all you need to do is properly configure the software for your audio controller. To do this, a highly-intuitive drag and drop system will allow you to easily assign each detected audio source. You can then name them, assign specific colors and an icon to identify them at a glance during your stream.
Once your sources have been properly configured, set the levels for each of them: adjust your microphone’s gain and the equalization for your voice. After that, all you have to do is connect your OBS software using your login information, and you’ll be ready for the next step.
Before you take the plunge to really give your audience your best in your stream, we recommend that you do some live tests with your friends. Check each audio source on both PCs, and make adjustments accordingly. By doing so, you’ll be able to provide a high-quality audio experience without hitting a wrong note!
